Digital India programme is to transform India into a digitally empowered society and knowledge economy
Government of India and several State Governments have embarked on e-governance programs to provide citizen friendly, transparent accurate and quick services to its citizens and businesses. This requires every officer connected with these programs to be well versed in planning, executing, monitoring and sustaining such programs. B Krishnamurthy plays a key role in this due to his decades of experience in telecommunication and IT.

Delivery of Standardized Programs
BKM is a facilitator in the standardized training workshops that address mandatory courses that introduce e-governance to senior officers. He had addressed over 100 programs across the country covering almost all the States.

Train The Trainer (TTT) Program
In order to increase the coverage of facilitators, TTT was conceived by the Government. BKM was the core member that designed the TTT program, focusing on senior officers of State and Central Government who would eventually become trainers on e-Governance. He conducted close to nine batches of TTT during the years 2015-17.

Designing specific programs
B Krishnamurthy was a key member in the committee that designed the complete program for the CIO’s called as eGovernance Leadership Program (eGLP). The main target participants are Indian Civil Servants (IAS, IPS, IRS etc). BKM also delivered several batches of the eGLP during 2017-18 in multiple locations in the country.

Consultancy on e-Governance
With the vast knowledge and experience, BKM has guided several departments of States on various facets of e-Governance program. These include setting up Program management office and defining the key performance indicators, review of Detailed Project Report, review of request for proposal, review of contracts for public-private partnerships and so on.
